A Beginner's Guide To Coding
This course is for beginners who want a straightforward and engaging introduction to the basics of HTML. We start with the fundamentals: understanding tags, elements, and the structure of a webpage. Then, we dive into creating headings, paragraphs, lists, links, and images using only HTML.
Learning just HTML first helps you build a strong foundation in how websites are structured, without the distraction of styling (CSS) or interactivity (JavaScript). By focusing solely on HTML, you'll develop a clear understanding of the essential building blocks of a webpage.
By the end of this course, you'll be able to build simple web pages with confidence. You'll have the skills to structure content effectively and be well-prepared for learning more advanced topics like CSS and JavaScript.

Hey, I'm Andrew!
My journey with computers began in 2000 when, at age 14, my parents bought our first family computer. From that moment, I was hooked—whether I was coding basic websites or taking computers apart and putting them back together. Even though my passion for tech was clear, I ended up pursuing a completely different degree because becoming a pilot seemed cooler at the time. After the 2008 economic crash derailed my plans to become a pilot, I decided to go back to college in 2012 to pursue my true passion: programming.
By 2018, I was teaching what I had learned to students, and since then, I've taught over 4,352 students through my online course. I've continued refining my skills, and now I want to share everything I've gained with you. My own learning journey took years, but my goal is to help you master these concepts in weeks—or even hours. I can't wait to see you inside the course!
